Goal: To use a social context in order to hear scales.

Beginning

  1. Teacher speaks, "Doe."
  2. Student speaks, "Rey."
  3. Teacher speaks, "Mi."
  4. Student speaks, "Fa."
  5. Process continues speaking the scale up and down, back and forth teacher and student.

Intermediate

  1. Student speaks, "Doe."
  2. Teacher speaks, "Rey."
  3. Process continues speaking the scale up and down, back and forth between student and teacher.

Advanced

  1. Students pair off and repeat the process of trading leader and follower.
