In Tempo
The same Out of Tempo exercises are performed In Tempo.
The teacher sets up a tempo, time signature, and tonality, instructing the students to:
- Clap the beats in the textures instructed while singing the beats of the given time signature in the same texture as the claps.
- Clap the beats in the textures as instructed while singing different rhythms in the same textures as the claps.
- Sing the beats in the textures instructed while clapping the beats in the same textures.
- Sing the beats in the textures instructed while clapping different rhythms in the same textures as the claps.
- Vary the textures between the claps and the singing so that they are not the same.
